Employer Advisory Board is building a professional referral network that supports employers. We’re getting to know each advisor’s strengths, when an employer needs their help, and how their work connects with the other professionals advising that business.
Join me, Matt Ragudo, for a 35–60 minute podcast conversation about where you fit in an employer’s team of advisors and how we can work together to help them succeed.
Who we invite
We invite professionals who advise employers on their finances, operations, and people, including:

- Fractional COOs and operations leaders

- Payroll, workers’ compensation, and recruiting specialists
- Other professionals who support business owners and their teams

Building a professional referral network
Useful introductions start with knowing who someone helps, what they do well, and where they need support.
Every guest closes the conversation by answering three questions:
- What problem do I need solved right now?
- Who do I need to be introduced to?
- What am I world class in?
These answers help us support each other and connect employers with the right expertise when they need it.

What we’ll discuss
The conversation runs 35–60 minutes. We’ll explore your work and how it connects with the other advisors supporting an employer.
Questions may include:
- Who do you help, and what problems usually bring employers to you?
- When should an employer involve you?
- What do you wish owners understood before they reached out?
- Where does your work overlap with other advisors, and what makes that collaboration work well?
- Can you share an example of how working together helped an employer?
If there’s a hot topic, a question you’re hearing often, or something you think employers and their advisors need to know, bring it. We can build those topics into the conversation.
We’ll finish with the three referral network questions listed above.
About a week before recording, you’ll receive the topics and questions tailored to your experience. Bring practical examples and your perspective. No slide deck or scripted answers are needed.
After your appearance
Your recorded conversation will be uploaded to YouTube and X. You’ll also be added to the Employer Advisory Board X List, helping employers and fellow advisors find you and follow your work.
You’re welcome to return for more conversations. Share anything that helps employers better understand you, your industry, how you charge, or the work you do. If there’s another topic you’d like to explore, let’s talk.
